INVITATION EVO European annual gathering 2010 FREE EVENT November 2, 2010, 17.30 - 19.30

EVO is pleased to invite you to the 2010 EVO European annual gathering event, which will take place in Lisbon on November 2nd, from 17:30 to 19:30.

The event, organized by EVO, is free of charge and will regroup all interested stakeholders on M&V for Energy Efficiency and ESCO projects in Europe in order to exchange on the evolution of the M&V practice and Europe and the news about IPMVP development.

We will be happy to present important development in Europe in regards with EVO and IPMVP in Europe in the last year:

• EVO launched on September 2009 a brand new version of the IPMVP. Some of these changes were very important for Europe, among others through the addition of new annexes where regional specificities are presented (including France and will soon included many annexes from other European countries)
• Three additional Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP) certification process were held in Madrid, Barcelona and Lisbon for of over 150 specialists around Europe. More then 70 new CMVP graduated.
• 2 new CMVP events will be held before we meet in the context of ESCO Europe 2010, one in Barcelona and one in Geneva
• The launch of the IPMVP in Portuguese, making the latest version of IPMVP available in 5 languages in Europe
• The implementation of the Intelligent Energy sponsored initiative to disseminate EE M&V good practices based on IPMVP in 5 central European countries.
• Important development of IPMVP in many countries, and more specifically in France, with its formal adoption by the government

The meeting will be conducted by Pierre Langlois, Econoler, Board member of EVO and Vice Chair of the training committee.
